Our pale blue Evil Eye necklace is one of Maviada’s signature designs: a small enamel evil eye, cast in 18k yellow gold, suspended on a fine 40cm chain. The evil eye motif is 5mm in diameter and 2mm thick, finished in a soft pale blue enamel rather than the more traditional bright blue, for a version that reads as everyday jewellery rather than a bold statement piece.

The evil eye has been worn as a protective symbol across Turkish, Greek and Middle Eastern cultures for centuries, believed to ward off misfortune and ill intention directed at the wearer. Maviada’s take on it keeps that meaning intact while updating the material and finish: solid 18k gold rather than costume metal, and a considered enamel colour rather than the classic cobalt blue most evil eye jewellery uses.
